Fictionist Does It Again!

Friday night was the Fictionist album release concert (Stuart's band). We had high hopes for the concert and were anticipating a good turn out, but what occurred was not expected. The concert was completely sold out (beyond capacity) several different times. There was a constant line of people at the door for nearly an hour and some people waited a long time in the cold hoping that those inside would leave so they could get in.

The music was unbelievable! The crowd ate it up and it was magic to watch the band rock their hearts out. We sold nearly 100 CD's and many shirts.

We can't wait to keep this ball rolling and look forward to even bigger and better things for Fictionist.

The most exciting part is to hear some of the chatter after the show. Many people have blogged about the talent and pure adrenaline rush they had during the show. In almost every case, they refer to the band as fitting in the same category as Radiohead and Pink Floyd!! (darn good company)

I'm so proud of this band and so excited for what the future holds. If you haven't had a chance to check them out yet you can listen to their songs on MySpace or the Web site:

You can catch the band this week at the Access Film-Music Festival - a music festival that coincides with the Sundance Film Festival. They'll be playing 3 shows in the next couple of weeks in Park City. Details here.
