Thanks friends!

First of all, thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers...it works! The blood results we were waiting on came back completely normal and luckily, our upcoming IVF procedure won't be complicated any further. This is a huge relief for me and one of the first times in a while were things actually went in our favor. I truly believe I owe it to you. Thank you again.

October is here and that means we are weeks away from round #3. I will start injections this week along with quite a few new prescriptions to counteract the immune issues. I have a good feeling about the new information we've uncovered and the treatments designed to suppress my overactive immune system. I'm anxious to get started and eager to be done and if it's possible to feel optimistic in a high-stakes, extremely stressful situation like this one, I can say, I feel relatively optimistic.

Secondly, here's an event that has to be documented. The McLaws Family Reunion (my Dad's side of the family) included a romp in the mud at the 2011 Dirty Dash in Midway, Utah. It's intense. It's dirty. It's fun. Try it some time - if you're up for it.

Jace, Camille, Russ, Mom, Stu, Me
(In case the mud confused you. And yes, my mom did the dirty dash. She's cool.)

This was Stuart's favorite race. What's not to love? We scaled 7-foot tall walls, crawled through mud tunnels, waded through the swamp at Deer Creek Resevoir, jumped down a giant water/mud slide, and finished in a pool of mud.

The said pool of mud at the finish and the McLaws family in all our muddy glory.
