Holidays

Christmas was fabulous. I loved spending Christmas at home in Washington where there are so many good memories. We missed Jace - but we loved getting to chat with him for 4 plus hours. He's doing very well. I especially loved spending the holiday with my parents and Camille and Russ. It was the best present of all. Here's a few shots of the festivities.

Sisters and "dudes-in-law" (they're lingo, not mine)

My parents taking pictures of us on the stairs.
Even though we're in our mid-twenties, we were still required to line up for the "kid photo" before seeing IF Santa came!

And he did. He still comes - after all these years. I love Santa.

Talking to Jace.

My mom after talking to Jace - Missionary moms have it rough.
(P.S. this is sparkling cider, but she did this move unprovoked. Love you mom!)

We then spent the New Year with the Maxfields complete with annihilation from Colin in Laser Tag, Fondue, Bowling, Thai Food, and more. Here's a peak at the celebration (the video is actually long and boring, but I'm experimenting with a new toy. Stop watching after like 1:30):

This video was captured via a new flip cam which was one of Stuart's gift to me. It was sweet and I hope to feature here on my blog from time to time. The gift was prefaced with a note that said 2010 would be a year to remember. We certainly hope so (2009 was a bit stagnant so we're ready for some excitement). And to ensure it's all we hope and dream...we're taking matters into our own hands. To start off the adventures...we booked plane tickets to...

  4. Christmas really is the most magical time of year. I'm glad you clarified that I was drinking sparkling cider! That picture is blackmail worthy. And yes, Santa is a pretty great "guy."
